Decided to make the time to sit and paint a view of Pittsburgh I drew almost a year ago. Drove to the South Side of Pittsburgh and parked near the bridge. As I strolled toward the west I came across a set of steps that led to the Monongahela river and there was a place to sit with this view of the city. Watercolors - I tried to go opaque, but in order to work fast I had to make some compromises.

I need to just check in here. It has been nearly a full six months since I posted anything. Everything is going great. I have to post a picture of my dog. She has been a part of my life, and my family's, for fifteen years. It has been a week since we took her to the vet. She was sick all weekend and simply would not get up, all she did was lay on the floor - such a sweet dog. It broke our heart.

Images completed the end of November. I've done a little bit of traveling for work - five city tour for a recognition campaign. All done in theaters,, some traditional theaters and two in blockbox theaters. Each time the stage crew bourht a little more to the show. The final event in Melbourne was the best, the lighting scene also included changes to the audinece lighting for the finale. Images

This is a friend's house up here in Mt. Washington. My first attempt with pastels, it took me almost 3 hours to get the guts to start it. Overall I am happy - but pastels need to be bigger in order to include detail in the work.I'll post it on FB and then in 'skineart and hopefully do a second version as a gift for the owners of the house.
